Catholic Charities Regional Agency Senior Center in East Liverpool will host an evening of square dancing for people of all ages from 8 to 11 p.m. the second and fourth Thursday of each month. SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, will host a dinner and dance that will be open to the public on Sept. 10.Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. and music for dancing will be by the Al Hreno Band. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, Men’s Needlecraft Club at 10 a.m., and bridge at 1 p.m. ; Tuesday, oil painting and Alzheimer Support Group at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, digital club at 2 p.m., and Caregiver Support Program from 2 to 3; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10, Tai Chi at noon, and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; and Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m.; exercise at noon, and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday, Texas Hold’em at 1 p.m. The center will be closed for Memorial Day, and a riverboat trip to Marietta will be on Sept. 6.
