buhl day in hermitage Schedule of activities
The annual Buhl Day community picnic is Monday in Buhl Park. The event honors local industrialist Frank H. Buhl and his wife, Julia. They were philanthropists who built and gave the park to the community. Honored guests this year, feted for their work with Shenango Valley community organizations and activities, are Louis Epstein of Sharon, Ellie Pope of Masury and Walter Strosser of Hermitage. The event is free. Nonprofit organizations will be selling plenty of food. Donations for Buhl Day will be accepted at the souvenir-and-information booth behind the Performing Arts Center.
