STRUTHERS — Hathaway Brown, which won last year’s Division II state championship, scored first, then senior forward Ashley Cuba tallied the next three goals for the Cards (3-0). Senior midfielder Maggie Vinopal and Alex Sierra both had assists on corner kicks, while Mooney goalie Rachael Letscher had seven saves against the Blazers (2-1). In last season’s regional semifinals, Mooney lost to Hathaway Brown in overtime, 3-2.

MASSILLON — Senior Lea Byers scored in the first 12 minutes, sophomore Heather Hughes and sophomore Kristy Lake had the final goal for the spartans (2-1, 1-0 Federal). Senior Courtney Gratz assisted on Byers’ goal and senior Jaime Avona on Hughes’ goal. Boardman’s junior goalie, Cheyenne Khatib, had seven saves. Perry’s record is 3-2, 0-1.
LaBrae 4, Struthers 1
STRUTHERS — After Alana Smith scored the game’s first goal for Struthers, then sophomore forward Julie Gibson scored four goals for the Vikings (1-1-1). Gibson’s second goal received an assist from Emily Potter. Gibson’s last goal was via penalty kick. Struthers goalie Ashley Baron had 12 saves, while LaBrae’s sophomore goalie, Kelsie Daniel, had seven stops. Struthers is 0-3.
South Range 10, United 0
NORTH LIMA – Katelin Smith and Abby Ausnehmer each had three goals to lead South Range, while Chelsea Beabout, Kelli Johnston, Mackenzie Pfiefer and Hannah Wiery each added one goal to aid the Raiders. South Range goalies Kristen Robinson and Lyndsey Cramer combined for six saves, the former getting four. United goalie Brittany Willis had 18 saves while counterpart Crystal Kind had one save.
Fitch 9, Canton McKinley 0
CANTON — Tori Koch had two goals to lead Fitch (2-2-0, 1-0 Federal League). Adding one goal apiece for the Falcons were Rachel Ferguson, Kalynn Novosel, Sara Ford, Kaitlyn Shiley, Jen Shiley, Kristen Schmidt and Emily Durina. Durina also had two assists while Christian Goleno had one assist. Fitch goalie Kacie Donahue had no saves, while McKinley had no shots on goal.
West Branch 1, Alliance 0
BELOIT — Bekah Zets had the only goal of the game on an assist from Emilee Zets to net West Branch the win. West Branch (4-0, 1-0 Northeastern Buckeye Conference) goalie Tami Pellerman had three saves. Alliance goalie Marissa Bondoni had five saves.
Newton Falls 5, Crestview 2
EAST FAIRFIELD — Raquel Mayfield had two gioals while Katie Lemasters, Brook Rogers and Jen Bjelic added one goal apiece to lead Newton Falls. For Crestview (0-3) , Brianna Vlaiku and Olivia Gamble each had one goal while Emily Corll and Heidi Landis each had an assist.

AUSTINTOWN — Chris Colaluca scored for Fitch with an assist from Anthony Savko, while John Buckley tallied Ursuline’s goal.
South Range 4, United 1
HANOVERTON — Andrew Edwards scored two goals, while Alex Baker had a goal and two assists for the Raiders. Andy Lacefield scored the other South Range goal, Justin Niemi had an assist and Luke Yeagley made seven saves.

EAST FAIRFIELD — Nate Norris, Jasun Baker and Alex DeSalvo each scored a goal for Crestview, while Norris, Greg Bing and and Zack Moore each had an assist.

HOWLAND — Kalie Luklan led the Cardinals with 12 kills and seven blocks. Megg Andrews had 15 kills, 12 blocks and Rachel O’Hara had 21 assists and 14 points. Canfield is 3-1 (1-1 All America Conference).

MINERAL RIDGE — For Mineral Ridge (2-0), Jenna Spackman had 20 points, six aces and 15 setting assists, while Taylor Shiley had 14 kills and eight blocks. Also, Megan Ben added nine points and Julia Grabosky three blocks whiler Lea Whitmer played well. For Mathews (1-1), Shantil Dickerson was the leading server and had six blocks, while Emily Pitzer and Brittanee Moyer had two aces each, Brooke Pregibon five kills, Rachel Agne six blocks and Kayla Manz eight setting assists.
