If you want company when watching Barack Obama’s acceptance speech today at the Democratic National Convention, you have options. The speech is supposed to start between 10 and 10:30 p.m.
Obama campaign supporters are watching the speech on a large-screen television on the Chevrolet Centre lawn at 229 Front St. Supporters can gather at the location beginning at 8 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and dress for cooler weather. If there is bad weather, the broadcast will take place inside the center.
Supporters can also go to the SEIU Local 1199 union hall, 3657 Belmont Ave. in Liberty, above Big John’s Car Wash. Doors open at 7 p.m.
