10 people gain U.S. citizenship

YOUNGSTOWN — Ten people became naturalized U.S. citizens in a ceremony today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court with Judge R. Scott Krichbaum presiding.

The new citizens, their country of origin, and their local hometowns are: Dongjian Li, People’s Republic of China, Canfield; Joan Doreen Raynes, United Kingdom, Sebring; William Robert Raynes, United Kingdom, Sebring; Glenn Villarias Fulguirinas, Philippines, Liberty; Gul Zarin Khan, Pakistan, Boardman; Dina Emad Shawky Baky, Egypt, Canfield; Bruno Malepou, Central African Republic, Struthers; Ahmad Abdelhaq Traish, Palestine, Youngstown; George John Paradise, Greece, Campbell; and Danka Csernik, Slovakia, Boardman.
