Photography club open

HOWLAND — Warren Photographic Society will host an open reception at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at Cord Camera, 8400 E. Market St., Howland, where new members will be welcomed and guests will have an opportunity to decide if they are interested in pursuing photography.

After the reception there will be a regular business meeting with a discussion on club rules, a review of the schedule for the year, and a presentation on renaming and resizing digital pictures. There will also be a review and critique of the top 10 pictures taken by members.

The club’s levels of expertise range from beginner and intermediate to professional photographers. Meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Thursday of each month from September through May, with an awards banquet in June.
