Parents announce Rickert-Marcum engagement

• The engagement of Kate Rickert and Christopher Marcum is being announced by their parents, David and Pamela Rickert of Boardman, and Victor and Mary Marcum of Jamestown, N.Y.

The bride-elect, a pharmacist with Omnicare in Wadsworth, graduated from Ohio Northern University in Ada with a doctor of pharmacy degree.

Her fianc also earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from ONU and is a pharmacist with ZellMed Solutions in Akron.

The couple will be married in October during a ceremony that will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Youngstown, and invitations will be extended for their reception, which will take place that evening at The Butler Institute of American Art, also in Youngstown.
