Genealogical Society officers assume duties

YOUNGSTOWN — Officers for 2008-2009 will assume their duties when Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society meets at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the handicap accessible St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman.

Heading the organization will be John Holderman, president; Tim Seman, vice president; Carol Check, recording secretary; Louis Joseph, treasurer; Janet Griffin, corresponding secretary; and Sue Bell, historian.

Toni Sheehan and Loretta DeSantis of Mercer County, Pa., will present a program.
