In the house: Former Pittsburgh manager Jim Tracy was in attendance Monday night at Eastwood Field. Brian Tracy is the pitching coach for the Spikes, who are an affiliate of the Pirates.

Draft heavy: Eleven of the Cleveland Indians’ top 15 draft picks have played for the Scrappers this year.

Good eye: The Scrappers lead the New York-Penn League in walks drawn with 263 and are second with the least amount of strikeouts at 435.

Hot and cold: Heading into Monday night’s play Batavia is the hottest team in the New York-Penn League with seven wins in a row. Auburn is the coldest having dropped eight straight.
