East Palestine paving to begin next week

EAST PALESTINE — Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 11 has announced that work will begin Sept. 2 to resurface Park Avenue and Rebecca Street.

Park Avenue and Rebecca Street are a continuous road that will be resurfaced from the junction of Brookdale and Main streets to West Taggart Street.

Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. ODOT’s contractor for the $618,417 project is Karvo Paving Co. of Cuyahoga Falls. The completion date is Oct. 31.
