Annual Sock Hop Saturday in East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE — The third annual Sock Hop sponsored by Ozer Ministries will be Saturday at the city park’s Community Center. Admission is free.

Children’s games will be offered from 5 to 6 p.m. Oldies music will accompany the sock hop, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Prizes will be given for the best 1950s costume.

Food, including homemade ice cream, will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the raffles, silent auction and other events will benefit Ozer Ministries’ ongoing programs.
