Younkins 60th marked at dinner and reception

• HUBBARD — On June 14 the 60th wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Younkins, 1932 Brookfield Road, was celebrated during a dinner reception at The Gallery.

Invitations for the occasion were extended by their children and their spouses, Joe and Joy Grzelak, John and Janet Schuller, Gary and Janine Younkins and Karen Younkins, all of Hubbard, and Ken and Kelley Younkins of Warren. Completing the family circle are 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Younkins, who served with the Navy Seabees Unit during World War II, married the former LaVerne Swartz on June 18, 1948, in Covington, Ky. He is the co-owner of Four Season Fireplaces LTD, where Mrs. Younkins is the bookkeeper.
