Surprise party honors Porrazzos on anniversary

• YOUNGSTOWN — A surprise party on Aug. 23 at Ciminero’s Banquet Hall in Niles honored Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Porrazzo, 1643 Wellington Ave., on the occasion of their 50th anniversary.

Invitations will issued by the hosts, their daughter, Dawn M. Al-Dabbas of Youngstown, and their son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Jr. and Paula Porrazzo of Lowellville.

They also have two grandsons, E.B. Al-Dabbas Jr. and Anthony J. Porrazzo III, and a granddaughter, Katrina Porrazzo.

St. Brendan Church was the setting Sept. 6, 1958, as Mr. Porrazzo and the former Dolores DoCampo were united in marriage. They are members of St. Brendan Church.

Mrs. Porrazzo is a homemaker. Her husband was a tile setter with Youngstown Tile and Terazzo in Canfield prior to retiring in 2001. He is employed part time at his son’s company, Energywise Home Improvements of Struthers.
