Relay for Life dinner Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN — An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner has been scheduled for Tuesday at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, with serving from 6 to 9 p.m. Proceeds will benefit for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life events.

The meals will include salad, roll, dessert and a nonalcoholic beverage.

The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 17 and free for those 5 and younger. Tickets will be sold at the door, and carryouts will be available. For more information, call (888) 227-6446, Ext. 2203.

Benefit motorcycle run scheduled for Sept. 7

SALEM — Salem Community Center, 1098 N. Ellsworth Ave., will host a Bikes For Babies Motorcycle Poker Run on Sept. 7 as a benefit for the March of Dimes.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. at the center, and the first bike will leave at noon. The nonrefundable entry fee is $20 per bike and $5 per passenger, and includes a meal at Mike’s Penn Avenue Grill and door prizes. There will also be a 50-50 drawing. For more information call (330) 332-5885.

Casino, winery bus trip sponsored by S.C.O.P.E.

NILES — Niles S.C.O.P.E., 14 E. State St., is sponsoring a day trip on Oct. 6 to Presque Isle Downs Casino with a stop at an Erie, Pa., winery. The casino perks include a $5 food voucher and a $15 coin voucher.

The cost for the bus trip is $20. Reservations are being accepted, and the payment deadline will be Sept. 29.
