• YOUNGSTOWN — Laura Ciminero, a daughter of Sam and Sandra Ciminero, 431 Pamela Court, Poland, and Marc William Pfahler, a son of William and Lorene Pfahler, 6175 Saint Andrews Drive, Canfield, were united in marriage by Monsignor Michael Cariglio Jr. at 4:30 p.m. July 18 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

The couple were honored during a reception at the Youngstown Club before leaving for a honeymoon at Playa del Carmen, Mexico. They live at 1010 Old Harbour Place.

The bride’s strapless ivory A-line gown was embellished with crystals and beading and featured a cathedral train.

Tricia Catcott, the honor attendant, wore a chocolate-brown and gold gown, as did the bridesmaids, Jill Ciminero, Melissa Pfahler, Christa Schroedel, Jen Sammartino, Kimberly Schneider and Sarah Speziale. Flower girls were Francesca Sammartino and Olivia Mitchell.

The duties of best man were performed by Scott Pfahler, and groomsmen were Michael Ciminero, Sammy Ciminero, David Weiss, John Zarlenga and Kevin Sferra. Ring bearer was Brody Kidwell.

The bride is a business and technology teacher at Boardman High School while pursuing a master’s degree in educational technology at Youngstown State University. The groom graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s in business management and is an executive sales representative with Shire Pharmaceuticals.
