Setting is chosen for Viano-Lumbaca October wedding

• BOARDMAN — The engagement of Leah Marie Viano, 6970 Old Bridge Lane, Dublin, and Alessandro Franco Lumbaca, 646 Retreat Lane, Powell, is announced by the parents of the bride-elect, James and Christine Viano, 745 Sabrina Drive.

Miss Viano earned a bachelor’s degree in sports sciences at Ohio University in Athens and a master’s in physical therapy at Ohio State University in Columbus. She is a pediatric physical therapist with Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Dublin.

The prospective groom, a son of Joe and Joanna Lumbaca, also of the Powell address, is a patient-care associate with Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Columbus.

The couple have chosen St. Charles Church for their open wedding at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 25. An evening reception will be held by invitation at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.
