Forum Health, nurses’ union reach tentative agreement on new pact

YOUNGSTOWN — Forum Health and representatives of the Ohio Nurses Association/Youngstown General Duty Nurses Association today reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract.

The ONA/YGDNA represents nurses at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.

The joint press release from Forum and the union says the new pact “signifies the motivations and commitment to ensure continued high-quality health care in the Mahoning Valley.”

Terms of the agreement were not available today, and the contract must be approved by the union and Forum Health’s board of directors.

Details will be shared by the union with its members at a ratification vote, which is set for Sept. 3, according to the press release.
