“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ Channel 21; and 7 p.m. Wednesday on Time Warner Cable channel 15 in Trumbull County): Host Madonna Chism Pinkard interviews members of the 2008 Hispanic Heritage Celebration committee. Ana Bobby, Rachel Flasco and Olga Rivera will discuss the upcoming celebration and its impact on the local community. The celebration, free and open to the public, will be Sept. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Youngstown State University’s Kilcawley Center, in the Chestnut Room.

“Sunday Morning With Dee” (8 a.m., WKBN-TV 27): William Lawson, executive director of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, and Steffon Jones, a local Civil War historian, will join host Dee Crawford. The MVHS is celebrating more than 130 years in the community.
