The issues for the Nov. 4 general election. The list is unofficial until county elections boards certify the issues. Thursday was the deadline to file for the November ballot.

MAHONING COUNTY

MAHONING COUNTY: An 0.85-mill, 5-year renewal levy for current expenses of the mental health board to raise $3,345,550 annually.

WESTERN RESERVE TRANSIT AUTHORITY: Shall a sales and use tax not to exceed 0.25 of 1 percent for five years to be levied in Mahoning County for all transit purposes of the WRTA? The tax would raise about $7 million to $7.5 million annually.

BELOIT: Shall the village’s zoning commission and its ordinances be repealed?

BOARDMAN: A 0.3-mill, 5-year renewal levy for park operations and maintenance to raise $240,444 annually.

BOARDMAN: A 2.2-mill, 5-year additional levy for police and fire services to raise $2,078,924 annually.

CAMPBELL: Shall a 1 percent income tax for the operations and maintenance of recreation facilities and municipal services continue for a five-year period?

GREEN: A 3.9-mill replacement levy for a continuing period of time for police services to raise $290,352 annually.

MILTON: A 3-mill replacement levy for a continuing period of time for police services to raise $228,593 annually.

MILTON: A 2-mill replacement levy for a continuing period of time for police services to raise $152,395 annually.

AUSTINTOWN SCHOOLS: A 4.9-mill, 5-year additional levy for operating expenses and general improvements to raise $2,959,731 annually.

BOARDMAN SCHOOLS: A 2.4-mill, 5-year renewal levy for emergency requirements to raise $1,999,547 annually.

JACKSON-MILTON SCHOOLS: A 0.9-mill, 5-year renewal levy for general, ongoing permanent improvements to raise $80,834 annually.

JACKSON-MILTON SCHOOLS: A 5.5-mill, 5-year renewal levy for emergency purposes to raise $988,485 annually.

SOUTH RANGE SCHOOLS: A 2.5-mill, 5-year renewal levy to avoid an operating deficit to raise $430,555 annually.

WESTERN RESERVE SCHOOLS: A 7.6-mill, 28-year bond issue for constructing, renovating, remodeling, furnishing and improving district buildings and facilities. It will raise $11,244,951 over 28 years.

YOUNGSTOWN CITY SCHOOLS: A 9.5-mill, 4-year additional levy for emergency purposes to raise $5,291,510 annually.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

CHAMPION SCHOOLS: An 8.75-mill, five-year renewal levy for the emergency requirements of the school district, to raise $1,655,168 annually.

CORTLAND: Shall the city have the authority to aggregate the retail electric loads in the city and enter into service agreements to facilitate the sale and purchase of electricity, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out?

EAGLE JOINT FIRE DISTRICT: (Hubbard City and Hubbard Township): A 1.2-mill, continuous additional levy to provide and maintain fire protection to raise $253,375 annually.

GIRARD: A 1.2-mill, 5-year renewal levy for collection and disposal of garbage or refuse to raise $69,599 annually.

GIRARD: A 0.9-mill, 5-year additional levy for collection and disposal of garbage or refuse to raise $114,374 annually.

HOWLAND SCHOOLS: A 4.7-mill, 28-year bond issue for the purpose of building, furnishing and equipping a new high school and auditorium, acquiring, clearing, equipping and otherwise improving school district buildings and facilities and improving their sites. It will raise $43,700,000 over 28 years.

LABRAE SCHOOLS: A 3-mill, five-year renewal levy for renovating, improving, remodeling, constructing, adding to, furnishing and equipping school facilities and improving school sites to raise $204,151 annually.

LAKEVIEW SCHOOLS: A 3.85-mill, 5-year, additional levy for emergency requirements of the school district to raise $1,050,000 annually.

LIBERTY SCHOOLS: A 0.9-mill, 5-year renewal levy for general permanent improvements to raise $147,944 annually.

LORDSTOWN: Shall the village have the authority to aggregate the retail purchase and sale of natural gas and enter into service agreements to facilitate the sale and purchase of natural gas, such aggregation to occur automatically except where any person elects to opt out?

MATHEWS SCHOOLS: A 9.25-mill, 5-year replacement and decrease levy for current expenses to raise $1,356,166 annually.

NEWTON FALLS: 12 charter amendments posed as three questions. Among the points contained in it, are: 1. Eliminate term limits for the mayor and council members, changing the mayor’s salary from $4,800 to $6,600 and council member salaries from $3,600 to $5,400, and electing all council members to at-large positions; 2. Requiring the city manager to submit to council a budget no later than Nov. 15 of each year to be adopted by council before Dec. 31; 3. Eliminate the civil service commission and change the park and recreation board from an advisory board to a general policy board.

NILES SCHOOLS: A 4.3-mill, 28-year bond issue to pay the local share of school construction under the Ohio Classroom Facilities Assistance Program to raise $18,028,977 over 28 years; a 0.5-mill, 23-year additional levy to maintain the classroom facilities to raise $130,712 annually; and a 0.5-mill, 23-year bond issue for the purpose of building, renovating, remodeling, adding to, furnishing and equipping sites for such buildings and facilities to raise $2 million over 23 years.

VERNON TOWNSHIP: A 1.5-mill, five-year additional levy to provide and maintain police protection to raise $35,407 annually.

VIENNA TOWNSHIP: A 1-mill, 5-year additional levy to provide and maintain police protection to raise $86,824 annually.

WARREN SCHOOLS: An 8.85-mill, 5-year renewal levy for the emergency requirements of the school district to raise $3,918,802 annually.

WEATHERSFIELD TOWNSHIP: A 3.7-mill, continuous replacement of continuous levies of 1.8 mills and 1.9 mills to provide and maintain police protection to raise $523,588 annually.

WEATHERSFIELD TOWNSHIP: (includes emergency medical services) A 3.7-mill, continuous replacement of continuous levies of 1.8 mills and 1.9 mills to provide and maintain police protection to raise $523,588 annually.

WEATHERSFIELD TOWNSHIP: Shall the township adopt a limited home rule government, under which the township trustees, by resolution, may exercise limited powers of local self-government and limited police powers?

TRUMBULL COUNTY, FAIRHAVEN: A 2.2-mill, continuous replacement and increase levy for maintenance and operation of schools, training centers, workshops, clinics and residential facilities for mentally retarded persons to raise $7,492,435 annually. It replaces a levy of 1 mill.

TRUMBULL COUNTY: Shall the county have the authority to aggregate the retail natural gas loads located in the unincorporated areas of Trumbull County (all townships) and enter into service agreements to facilitate the sale and purchase of natural gas except where any person elects out?

COLUMBIANA COUNTY: A 1.5-mill, 5-year additional levy to care for abused and neglected children to raise $2.2 million annually.

ELKRUN: A 1-mill, 5-year renewal levy for fire protection to raise $29,000 annually.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP FIRE DISTRICT: A 0.9-mill, 5-year renewal levy for fire protection to raise $7,000 annually.

LIVERPOOL: A 1.3-mill, continuous replacement levy for fire protection to raise $31,400 annually.

MADISON: A 0.5-mill, 5-year replacement levy for road construction and resurfacing to raise $22,900 annually.

UNITED LOCAL SCHOOLS: A 3-mill, 5-year renewal levy to fund the permanent improvement fund to raise $167,300 annually.

WELLSVILLE SCHOOLS: A 2-mill, 5-year levy for permanent improvements to raise $51,000 a year.
