• East High School Alumni will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.

CLUBS

• Youngstown American Hungarian Club will meet for a picnic from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the clubhouse on Donald Avenue. Casseroles are welcome. The agenda for a meeting at 7 will include final preparations for Heritage Day on Sept. 7.

• Youngstown Women’s Connection is sponsoring a Recipe for Living luncheon at noon Sept. 9 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown. Doors will open at 11:15 a.m. Paula Lewis will present a feature on Pampered Chef gadgets, music will be by Bonnie Baughman, and “Never Say Never” will be the theme of a talk by Linda Ramsey.
