• OCHO RIOS, Jamaica — Kelli Rachelle Coney and Christopher Earl Lawler were united in marriage in a twilight ceremony at 5:30 p.m. July 19 at Sandals Dunn’s River Villaggio Resort, where a reception followed and where the couple spent their honeymoon before returning to their home at 19073 Watercrest Ave., Maple Heights.
Parents of the bride are Cynthia L. Coney-Gaines, 1556 Fountain Square Drive, Austintown, and the groom is a son of Earnest Lawler, 930 Helmsdale Road, Cleveland Heights, and Virginia Lawler of Euclid.
The bride, who was given in marriage by Donna Smith of Boardman, wore a duet candlelight gown with pleated bodice, crystal beaded straps and a French bustle-back skirt.
Sienna-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Alvinetta Jenkins of Lynhurst, and the bridesmaid, Fatemia Newkirk of Newark, N.J.
Eddie Showers of Lynhurst performed the duties of best man, and Ronald Evans of New Jersey served as the groomsman.
Also witnessing the ceremony was Pam Brown of Youngstown.
The bride, who will use Coney-Lawler as her last name, is an autoworker with Lear Seating Corp. in Lordstown.
The groom is employed as a financial systems analyst with University Hospitals in Shaker Heights. He graduated from Kent State University with a degree in finance.
