A fatal pedestrian hit-skip in Howland is the focus of Crime Stoppers of Greater Youngstown this week:

Crime: Ann Delvecchio, 53, of Warwick Road, Howland, was killed April 8.

Site: State Route 46 near Super Kmart.

Details: Delvecchio was crossing the road at 10:10 p.m. when she was struck by a northbound vehicle. That vehicle continued north on Route 46 without stopping. Investigators think Delvecchio was coming from a nearby McDonald’s restaurant, trying to get to her home.

Description of suspect: Police have determined the car to be a silver Pontiac G6 and said the car should have heavy front-end damage.
