Purpose

The efforts of the Junior League for the past 75 years have focused on enhancing and improving the lives of women, children and families. Past projects include the Ronald McDonald House, Hope House, Day Break and the Children’s Museum of the Valley.

During 2008, the Junior League is serving in partnership with area social service agencies to locally implement the Kids in the Kitchen initiative, a nationwide program of the Association of Junior Leagues Inc. The goal is to empower underserved youths to make healthy lifestyle choices and help reverse the growth of childhood obesity and its associated health issues.
