Halls to observe 50th anniversary at family dinner


• YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Leonard M. Hall of Youngstown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 23 during a family dinner party to be given by their children.

The couple will also celebrate the occasion during a trip to Las Vegas, a gift from their children, Leonard D. and Mary Patricia (Easterday) Hall of Boardman, Cheryl L. Hall of Parma, and Gary E. Hall of Youngstown. Completing the family circle are their grandchildren, Lyndsie A., Alison M. and Philip L. Hall, all of Boardman.

The former Gail Margaret Cox and Mr. Hall were married Aug. 23, 1958, at Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers.

Mrs. Hall, who is known as Peggy, was employed more than 22 years at the former Mahoning National Bank, retiring from Sky Bank in 2001.

Mr. Hall served with the U.S. Navy and was employed as a crane operator at LTV Steel Corp. prior to retiring in 1986. He is employed part time in security with Parker-Hannifin.

The couple are members of Good Hope Lutheran Church, where she volunteers.
