60th anniversary is observed by Mr. and Mrs. Tobias


• STRUTHERS — The 60th anniversary of their wedding was observed by Mr. and Mrs. James Tobias of Struthers on May 29 during a private dinner.

The former Ann Younger and Mr. Tobias were united in marriage May 29, 1948, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Youngstown.

Their family includes their children, Mary Ann and Bud Simkins of Boardman; Bill and Sue Tobias of Kannapolis, N.C.; Tom Tobias of Albany, N.Y.; Ruth Rudibaugh of Dublin; and Nancy and Bob Knight of Austintown. They also have 10 grandchildren, Chad Simkins of Columbus, Wendy Simkins of Boardman, Tim and Katie Tobias of Kannapolis, Cory, Lindsey, Mitchell and Carter Rudibaugh of Dublin, and Jarett and Abigail Knight of Austintown. They also have one great-granddaughter, Mikala Simkins-Perez of Boardman.

Prior to retiring, Mr. Tobias was employed at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co., Brier Hill Works, and Poland Schools. Mrs. Tobias was employed in the office of Youngstown Sheet and Tube.

The couple are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman.
