Harco signs lease for former Delphi plant

MORAINE — Officials in the Dayton suburb of Moraine say another auto parts maker has signed a lease to occupy a former Delphi Corp. plant and locate up to 400 jobs there.

Harco Manufacturing Group will consolidate several of its operations at the 311,000-square-foot plant.

Delphi, a parts supplier seeking to emerge from bankruptcy protection, ended operations at its Moraine compressor plant last fall, resulting in the loss of about 250 jobs.

Delphi announced the sale of its brake hose business to Harco in October. The sale included machinery and equipment as well as intellectual property, customer and supplier agreements.
