Jordan Weathers, John Griffin plan December wedding


• MARIETTA, Ga. — The engagement of Jordan Clare Weathers and John Willis Griffin, both of 501 Early St., Savannah, Ga., is being announced by her parents, Georgia Lee Jordan Weathers, formerly of Youngstown, and William Thomas Weathers III, both of 5162 Hampton Lake Drive.

Miss Weathers is employed by the City of Savannah’s Tourism and Film Services office as a downtown program technician. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga., with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and political science and a master’s in public administration.

Mr. Griffin, a son of Kenneth Griffin of Hinesville, Ga., and Joanne Griffin of Swainsboro, Ga., is an assistant manager with Sherwin-Williams Corp. in Savannah. He graduated from GSU with a degree in international studies.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for 6 p.m. Dec. 6 at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, and for a reception that will take place afterward at The Marshall House, both in Savannah.
