Erin Schiffleger, David Maruskin are engaged

• SOUTH PASADENA, Fla. — Maurus and Carol Maruskin, 7922 Sailboat Key Blvd., formerly of Poland, are announcing the engagement of their son, David M. Maruskin, and Erin E. Schiffleger, both of 1900 E. Cary St., Richmond, Va. She is a daughter of Paul and Laurel Schiffleger, 4902 Morgan Drive, Manitowoc, Wis.

The bride-to be graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and graduated cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law with her juris doctorate degree. She is preparing to take the Virginia Bar Exam.

The prospective groom earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Ohio University in Athens and received his juris doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law. He is a senior project engineer with Draper Aden Associates in Richmond while also studying for the Virginia Bar Exam.

The couple will be married in January 2009.
