Clergywomen’s alliance schedules banquet

YOUNGSTOWN — The Interdenominational Clergywomen’s Alliance Inc. will have a banquet celebration at 6 p.m. Aug. 30 at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St.

Keynote speaker will be Pastor Eleanor Felder, pastor of Holy Bible Church of God. The 2008 Athena Community Award finalist is a community leader and activist.

The alliance founder, the Rev. Lillie B. North, will speak.

Music will be presented by minister Darlene A. Brown of New Vision Christian Church Center in Warren and Daddy’s Girls, a local gospel group with Sheila Conley and Summer D. Payne of Holy Bible Church of God, Dorothy Macklin of from Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church and minister Tonya Payne. The cost is $20.
