Route 558 will be closed between Salem and Lisbon

SALEM — The Ohio Department of Transportation will begin work Wednesday to replace approximately 20 different culverts located under state Route 558 between Salem and Lisbon.

ODOT’s Columbiana County maintenance crews will replace the culverts from Franklin Square to East Fairfield during the daytime.

State Route 558 will be closed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Traffic will be rerouted from the intersection of state Routes 558 and 45, to south on state Route 45 to state Route 517, then east on state Route 517 back to state Route 558, and the reverse.

The work is expected to take approximately 21 days.
