HABITAT STORE
Got stuff? Need stuff?
Habitat For Humanity of Northern Columbiana County is opening a ReStore that will sell donated items and building supplies, such as roofing or flooring materials, lumber, plywood, tile and brick, furnaces, plumbing fixtures and other items.
Habitat isn’t taking clothes, toys, books, musical instruments or broken items.
Prices will be about 50 percent of the retail cost.
Habitat uses some of the materials in construction of its homes. The store will also help the program by clearing out materials stored at the program’s warehouse. Barbara Loudon, Habitat’s executive director, said that will allow workers to build walls inside the warehouse during the winter that will be used in next year’s home construction project.
