Diabetes fundraiser at Canfield Fairgrounds

CANFIELD — More than 500 walkers and volunteers will be participating in the Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes fund-raising walk on Oct. 5 at Canfield Fairgrounds, 7265 Columbiana Canfield Road.

Proceeds from the event will support the American Diabetes Association.

Check-in for walkers will be 9 a.m., and the walk will get under way at 10. There will be a one-mile option or participants can complete the 3.5 mile walk through Canfield.

A complimentary breakfast and pizza after the walk will be provided. Each walker will also receive a bag of useful items and coupons, and there will be team photos and entertainment.
