‘So Close To God’ author will do a book signing

YOUNGSTOWN — Kathleen Higham, a longtime Youngstown resident and retired nurse, will have a book signing for her recent book of Christian poetry, “So Close To God.” It was published in March 2008 by LifeVest Publishing Co.

The event will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 24 at Upper Room Ministries at 4301 New Road in Youngstown. Proceeds from the event will go to the church’s building fund.

Higham has published more than 300 poems on a Christian Web site called ChristArt.com.
