Man shot in head, car taken

YOUNGSTOWN — A 40-year-old Burlington Avenue man told police he was shot in the head, just behind his right ear, and the car he was driving taken by two suspects late Wednesday night. The victim, Angel Rosado, said the suspects “from the neighborhood” asked for a ride to a store around 9:30 p.m. and he picked them up near a restaurant on Belmont Avenue. He doesn’t know them by name. One of the men got in the back seat and one in the front seat. The one in the back seat put a gun to Rosado’s head when he pulled into a store parking lot on Belmont Avenue and fired, reports show. Rosado was interviewed by police at St. Elizabeth Health Center. His condition wasn’t immediately available.
