Youngstown man with throat cut is latest homicide

YOUNGSTOWN— Police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.

A 20-year-old man was found with his throat cut in a home at the corner and Cain and Hylda Avenues late Wednesday morning.

Police were called to the scene on a report of a body in the house. When they arrived, a man who had spoken to the victim last night told police he came to the home Wednesday and knocked on the door but got no answer.

He looked through the window, saw a body on the floor and began to climb through a bathroom window, the police report said.

When he saw blood on the body, he climbed back out the window and called 911.

Police found the body of Jajuan Robbins, 20, on the floor of a bedroom with his throat cut, arm behind his back and pants down around his knees.
