Hospital team sponsors benefit walk/run

WARREN — The fourth annual Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital 5K Team Challenge on Saturday will be co-sponsored by WKBN-27 First News as a benefit for Hillside’s adapted sports program for the physically challenged.

Registration at 8 a.m. will be followed at 9 by the 5K and 1-mile run or walk, which will start at Hillside and wind through the nearby residential area. Participants will receive a free T-shirt, and prizes will be awarded for teams that are the largest, fastest, raise the most money, wear the most creative attire, and exhibit the most spirit.

Teams are encouraged to preregister by Thursday. The cost is $200 per team, and teams with five or more pay $30 for each additional person. Registration packets are available at the hospital. For more information, call (330) 841-3655.
