Welkers renew nuptial vows on 50th anniversary

• NORTH LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Welker, 12655 New Buffalo Road, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their nuptial vows in a simple outdoor ceremony that took place on the lawn of their home with family and members of their original bridal party in attendance. Their family includes Joann and Neil Maxwell and their children, Ryan, Sarah and David, of North Lima; Susan and Mike Kenney and their children, Michael, Levi, Floyd, Jon and Mary, of Canfield; Karen and Paul Landis and their children, Lindsay, Paul Jr. and Travis, North Lima; and Connie and Tom Young and their children, Sydney and Madeline, of Salem. A son, David Welker, died in infancy.
