Sports boosters plan Cow Pie Bingo

McDONALD — The McDonald Sideliners will host their third annual Cow Pie Bingo and Meet the Team Night at a fall sports teams event at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at the high school football stadium, Seventh Avenue.

The community can meet the fall sports team, cheerleaders and band members at the event, and a short program is planned.

Those interested in attending can stay for a community picnic and the Cow Pie Bingo afterward.

The new 2008 Blue Devil apparel will be available for purchase at the Cow Pie Meet the Team night, and the “2008 Roast the Rams” T-shirt also will be on display, representing the neighborhood rivalry with Mineral Ridge High School.

Pre-paid orders will be taken, so that T-shirts will arrive before the Sept. 5 game against Mineral Ridge.

The Sideliners are gearing up for another football season. There are many events already in the planning stages. Football parents are needed to help at Cow Pie Bingo, two-a-day team practices, Thursday night team dinners, the 50-50 raffle and apparel sales at home games.
