State St., has the following activities available: Monday: breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m. ( $2); preregistered computer class at McKinley House at 9:30 a.m., beginning bridge at 10, arthritis exercise at 11 ($1), quilting and cards at 1 p.m., Monday night cards, games and food at 4, ( $2); and TOPS meeting at 5; Tuesday: square dancing at 9:30, lunch (for members $3 and for guests $4), at 11:30, cards 500 tournament, and pinochle at 2:30; Wednesday: lunch at 11:30 ($3 for members $4 for guests); blood pressure screenings at noon, bingo at 1, and cards at 2:30; Thursday: line dancing at 9:30 ($3), lunch ($3 for members $4 for guests) at 11:30; and pinochle ad bridge ; Friday: movies at 9, corn hole games at 9:30, arthritis exercises at 11 ($1), potluck lunch ($2) at 11:30, corn hole at noon, and hand and foot cards and other games at 1. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday: Men’s and Women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30 a.m., Cancer Support Group at 10, and bridge at 1; Tuesday: oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, and digital club at 2 p.m.; Wednesday: watercolor class at 10, Tai Chi at noon, and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday: woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., diabetic workshop at 10 a.m., exercise at noon, and line dancing at 1 p.m.; and Friday: Texas Hold ‘em. Special events are: Trip to Tara and Daffin’s Candy on Tuesday; Diabetic Support Group picnic, 11 a.m., Thursday; and Sebring picnic in the park at 11 a.m. Aug. 15.
