IN THE CUP! Area aces

Randy Arnold of Boardman aced the 180-yard No. 14 hole on the north course at Mill Creek Golf Course. He used a 3-iron. Witnesses were Dave Arnold, Dick Bauman and Jerry McCarthy.

Rocco Polito of Boardman aced the No. 7 hole on the South Course at Mill Creek Golf Course. He used a 7-iron on the 173-yard hole. It was witnessed by Ralph Maravola.

Phil Clacko recorded a hole-in-one on the No. 8 hole at Bedford Trails Golf Course in Coitsville. He used a pitching wedge on the 125-yard hole and the shot was witnessed by Sherri Giovanni and Ruth Fletcher.

Dave “Coach” Kaercher of Mineral Ridge aced the No. 3 hole at Pine Lakes Country Club in Hubbard. He used an 8-iron on the 148-yard hole. Witnesses included Rob Cameron, Todd Hennon, John Salerno and Tim Fellows.
