Free health care
Where: Youngstown Community Health Center, 726 Wick Ave., near Ursuline High School and Youngstown State University campus.
What: Free health care provided by the Ohio National Guard.
When: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 16; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 17. The Prescription Express bus will be at the center Wednesday afternoon to assist people with free medications. Call YCHC at (330) 747-9551 to get the time.
What’s offered: Physicals, HIV testing, blood pressure, vision and hearing screenings, oral health exams, lab work, immunizations, EKGs (electrocardiograms) and health education literature. Several local agencies also will be on hand with information about their services.
Mammograms, Pap tests: The Tiffany Mammography Van will be present on certain days this week. Trinity Breast and Cervical Cancer Grant Program will enroll qualifying women for a free Pap test and mammography. Call (800) 921-5151.
