Family and friends will join Fetchets in honoring 60th

• GIRARD — Peter and Elizabeth Fetchet, 999 Villa Place, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday.

The Fetchets have two children, Diane Fetchet-Combs of Sarasota, Fla., and Frank Fetchet of New Canaan, Conn.

Five grandchildren also round out the family.

The former Elizabeth Giacchettes and Peter Fetchet were married at St. Dominic Church on Aug. 14, 1948.

Mrs. Fetchet is a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, and Mr. Fetchet is a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The couple will celebrate their anniversary over the summer with visits from family and friends.
