• YOUNGSTOWN — Andr Sahyoun and his bride, the former Marise Aghnatios, both of 2775 N. Highway 360, No. 825, Grand Prairie, Texas, were united in marriage by the Rev. Gary George at 2 p.m. July 12 at St. Maron Church.

Family and friends honored the couple during a reception at the Maronite Center.

Louis and Hayat Aghnatios, 4718 Kent Drive, Grand Prairie, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Salloum and Rose Sahyoun, 2110 Redwood Place, Canfield.

The bodice of the bride’s strapless gown was enhanced with Swarovski crystals, pearls, beads, and sequins. It featured a dropped waistline embellished with lace and ruched taffeta, and rosettes adorned the A-line skirt.

Honor attendant was Sana Anver, who wore a yellow dress. Flower girls were Lauren Steinhoff and Abigail Bishar, cousin of the bride.

The duties of best man were performed J.T. Holt, and ring bearers were Zachary Karas, nephew of the groom, and Joseph Andari, nephew of the bride.

Serving as ushers were Badih Feghali and Greg Karas, both brothers-in-law of the groom.

The bride graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is a fourth-grade teacher with Grand Pairie Independent School District.

The groom, a credit manager with Wells Fargo Financial in Bedford, Texas, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
