Vandals cut telephone line, cuts service for Weathersfield customers

WEATHERSFIELD — Some area customers were without telephone service for a short time after vandals cut a line.

AT&T reported to township police about 3:45 p.m. Thursday that vandals, possibly using a hack saw, cut about three-quarters of the way through a line along state Route 169. No arrest has been made.
