Route 224 to have lane restrictions at Tippecanoe Road

BOARDMAN — Throughout the morning hours Saturday, U.S. Route 224 eastbound will be reduced to one lane at the Tippecanoe Road/Lockwood Boulevard intersection. It will return to two lanes by about noon.

From about noon Saturday until further notice, the intersection will have two lanes of traffic in each direction plus a mutual left turn lane. This work is part of a $4.1 million project to widen the approaches of the U.S. 224 intersection with Tippecanoe/Lockwood. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by July 2009.
