Naked man reported
BOARDMAN — A delivery driver encountered a man who was out on a late-night stroll without his clothes.
A woman told police she was loading her delivery truck about 11 p.m. Wednesday at Krispy Kreme, Boardman-Poland Road, when she saw a naked man. At first, she thought the man, who was near a tree, was merely shirtless, but when he moved from the tree, the woman realized the man wasn’t wearing pants either.
She called her boss and told police that when the man heard her say into the phone that there was a naked man, the man took off running, the police report said. Police searched the area but didn’t find the man.
2 men scare children
YOUNGSTOWN — Small boys playing outside on Cambridge Avenue on the South Side became frightened late Wednesday by two men in a black vehicle, possibly a Ford Ranger, who were driving slowly on the street and, at one point, tried to get the children to come toward them, reports show.
The mother of two boys told police that the truck pulled up in front of her home around 10 p.m. while her children were putting on their shoes and the passenger yelled, “Get on your knees, Jeremy.” The mother said no boys in the neighborhood are named Jeremy.
She said that when an adult stepped outside the house, the truck pulled away.
About 10 minutes later, police were told that the truck had been at the intersection of Cambridge and Zedaker Street, where several boys were playing, and the passenger yelled, “Hey, come here,” at which time the boys ran home.
Officers checked the area but didn’t find the black vehicle.
