Samantha Ritter to be bride of Phillip Detec III

• BOARDMAN — Samantha Ritter, a daughter of Chrys and Bill Ritter of Boardman, and Phillip Detec III, a son of Ann and Phil Detec Jr. of Boardman, are engaged and have made plans for their marriage.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a ceremony that will take place at St. Maron Church, and afterward there will be a reception at the Maronite Center, both in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is a prekindergarten teacher in Canton, Mich.

The prospective groom, a sales representative with Simon Roofing in Canton, graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
