Naked man spotted near U.S. Route 224 in Boardman

BOARDMAN — A delivery driver encountered a man who was out on a late-night stroll without his clothes.

A woman told police she was loading her delivery truck about 11 p.m. Wednesday at Krispy Kreme, Boardman-Poland Road, when she saw a naked man. At first, she thought the man, who was near a tree, was merely shirtless, but when he moved from the tree, the woman realized the man wasn’t wearing pants either.

She called her boss and told police that when the man heard her say into the phone that there was a naked man, the man took off running, the police report said.

Police searched the area but didn’t find the man.
