LOUIE TODAY: Kids from the J; Geekonomics; and your success
Camp kids from the Youngstown JCC's daycamp will join Louie, Vindy.com's news radio partner, for a studio tour as they begin their media education day. Next stop will be the Vindy, where Editor Todd Franko will show them the ropes.
Then Louie will talk with "Geekonomics" author David Rice, who's known internationally as an information security professional and accomplished educator and visionary. For a decade Rice has advised, counseled, and defended global IT networks for government and private industry. In "Geekonomics," Rice details an astonishing lack of consumer protection in the software market and how that impacts economic and national security. Software buyers, he contends, are virtual crash test dummies for an industry that is insulated against liability, accountability, and responsibility for any harm, damages or loss from manufacturing defects or weaknesses that allow hackers to hijack our computer systems.
The book also explores why we behave the way we do when it comes to protecting ourselves in cyberspace.
Later, one of "Rich Dad" author Robert Kiyosaki's advisors, Atty. Garrett Sutton, will join the show to talk about why the rich own their own companies and everyone else works for them.
Sutton speaks to investors and entrepreneurs about asset protection, liability limitation, wealth creation, as well as various business and real estate issues, and wrote "Own Your Own Corporation," "How to Buy & Sell a Business," and co-authored "Real Estate Loopholes" and other titles. His books provide an accessible source of information for building your own success.
