• CHESTERLAND — The marriage of Kelly Ann Zimmerman, a daughter of Robert and Jill Zimmerman of Concord Township, and J.P. Moran, a son of Jim and Kathy Moran of Poland, was solemnized by the Rev. Thomas Sweany at 2 p.m. June 21 at St. Anselm Church.
The couple were honored at a reception at LaMalfa in Mentor before leaving for a honeymoon in Hawaii.
The bride’s strapless A-line gown was embellished with crystals and pearls and featured a basque bodice, dropped waistline and semicathedral train.
Samantha Giglio was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Erica Evans; Julie Poling; Carlene Oliverio; Maggie Palmer, Maureen Knechtel and Colleen Moran, his sisters; and Ellen and Karin Ourada and Candace Epperson, her cousins.
Best men were the groom’s father and Brock Curall, and groomsmen were Jeff Taraba, Matt Crysler, Andy Yost, Ryan Chambers, Eric Algaier, Tony Wittrock, Josh Booher and the bride’s brother, Kevin Zimmerman. Ushers were Bill Hugenberg and Tony Cannella.
The bride , a third-grade teacher at Kirtland Elementary School, graduated from John Carroll University with degrees in early childhood education and educational administration.
The groom received a degree in elementary education and a master’s in educational administration from Cleveland State University. He is a middle-school science teacher at Kirtland Middle School.
The couple live in Madison.
